Dell ProSupport proactive services launched

STAFF REPORT ISB: Dell has launched Dell ProSupport for commercial customers and consumers in order to help them maintain and optimize IT performance so they can spend less time on technical support and more time innovating in the countrys evolving business environment.

The key features of these services are designed to help Dells customers work smarter by giving them access to Dell support on their own terms and at their own convenience.

Commercial customers and end consumers will benefit from the coupling of a base warranty with the carry-in and onsite services of ProSupport.

This will allow them to drop their systems at the designated Dell repair center or have a field support engineer visit their premises to resolve the issue.

Additionally, ProSupport for PCs and tablets provides direct access to in-region support from ProSupport engineers and establishes a single source for both software and hardware specific matters.

“There is also greater reliance on technology every day which brings about a greater need for the right support,” said Mir Saadat Ali, General Manager, Dell Pakistan and Afghanistan.

“Dell has been proactive in understanding our customers needs in this market and introducing Dell ProSupport will enable our customers to maintain productivity and minimize downtime.”

Dells enterprise customers will be able to access the same services, with the added advantage of a third party collaborative assistance, hypervisor and OS support.
