LAHORE (02-06-17): The Quality Enhancement Cell of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore organised a meeting of deans and directors to review the quality of education being imparted in the university and how to further improve it as per Higher Education Commission standards.

Chairing the meeting, Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha said that it is very necessary to sit together, continuously review our educational system and standards, responsibilities and find out the areas which need further improvement for the enhancement of quality of education. He lauded the efforts of UVAS faculty members for the progress of the university. He called for providing employment opportunities to the UVAS graduates, especially the toppers of various degree programmes in the university on priority basis.

The participants discussed various steps on how to further improve the ranking of the UVAS in the HEC ranking of universities. QEC Director Dr Hafsa Zenab gave a presentation on the HEC criteria for the ranking of universities and various requirements in this regard.
