Government Minister for Science and Technology Rana Tanveer Hussain guided COMSATS minister to test into corruption claims leveled on National Testing Service (NTS) experts and present a total report.

According to the press release after accepting the charge of his portfolio took genuine notice of the corruption affirmations leveled against the NTS authorities.

A strict move made against the individuals engaged with any sort of inconsistencies said in the statement.

Minister of State for Science and Technology Mir Dostain Khan Domki, who decided to battle to remove the hazard of corruption from various institutes, resigned because of increasing pressure.

Dostain had started a huge battle to wash down different institutes having uncontrolled corruption and mismanagement.

Dostain told PM that because of complaints of corruption and mismanagement in the Ministry of Science and Technology, careful inquiries and examinations were requested particularly against National Testing Service (NTS), COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) and Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA). He additionally said that for alleged corruption and money laundering inquiry had been requested against NTS.

It is worth mentioning that Dostain was all the while holding the workplace when Rana Tanveer was given charge of the ministry, so he had been left with no other decision but only to resign from his position.

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had assaulted two Islamabad offices of the National Testing Service (NTS) and captured CEO Air Commodore (r) Dr. Sherzada Khan along with four other employees.

The assaults were made on orders given NAB Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal as he requested an inquiry into a paper leak before the test dates.

The choice had been made after anti-corruption watchdog got various dissensions from candidates running from papers being traded off before the tests, procedural anomalies in the procuring procedure, and other degenerate practices in the NTS.
