Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources (PCRWR) has functional in National Capacity Building Institute for Water Quality Management to start three-year diploma for the very first time in the country on water quality management to fabricate skilled manpower for increasing safe drinking water exposure.
Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources (PCRWR) Chairman Dr Aslam Tahir said PCRWR interacted with all the provinces to make longer support in water quality testing, technical support in technology selection and aptitude building of technicians for stipulation of safe drinking water.
The ruling body has commenced the procedure of endorsement of National Water Quality Laboratory which will be completed in six months for proficient methodical results.
The convention has also initiated the progression of launching safe drinking water advisory to broad-spectrum public through mobile phones.
Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources (PCRWR) monitors quality of bottled water brands on periodical basis and issues a report and continues to provide irrigation counseling to 20,000 farmers of 41 districts through mobile phones for healthier use of water.
The process of pronouncement of Karezes of Balochistan as World Cultural Heritage was also initiated by the convention and also finalizing the sketch of Water Conservation Bill which will be submitted soon in National Assembly after discussion process with the provinces.

Keeping in mind, the above discussed quality water management, it is the stipulate of time to take landmark initiatives to make sure that drinking water is as free of such impurities as is possible and this can be consummate by well-timed monitoring and management of drinking water quality.
