Inspector General of Police Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar visited Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA) headquarters. DIG operations, AIG operations, SSP Operations, Zonal Sps and other police officials were present on the juncture.

The IGP Muhammad Aamir addressed the officers and enthusiastic youth from Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA), Ant-Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) and valued the accomplishments of CIA. IGP also visited the CRO/CIA office and IT lab.

The IGP heading to make sure arrest of criminals at large and provide protection to the lives and property of the citizens. Also intended to speed up efforts for efficient policing and use all accessible resources to ensure arrests of dacoits, burglars and others involved in criminal activities.

Aamir Zulfiqar analyzed the performance of ACLC and said that newest investigation techniques should be used to restrain crime of car lifting. He said that Islamabad should be made free from cartheft incidents and car lifters as well as receivers should be arrest.

SP Investigation gave a comprehensive presentation to the IGP about the efforts and success of investigation wing against drug pushers. He also briefed about the steps being taken to improve the performance of the wing.
