UVAS Job Fair to be held on January 23rd & International Fisheries and Aquaculture Conference on 30th.
The Directorate of University Advancement & Financial Aid of the University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore in collaboration with Mukhtar Cattle Feeds and Zubair Feed Private limited is arranging Annual Job Fair 2019 on 23rd January in city campus Lahore.
More than 35 companies from Dairy, Poultry and Pharmaceutical sectors will set up their stalls in the fair. Different NGOs and career counseling organizations will also be a part of this event in order to provide consultancy, counseling and job opportunities to students and graduates.
International Fisheries and Aquaculture Conference on 30th
The Department of Fisheries & Aquaculture, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore, is organising a two-day International Fisheries and Aquaculture Conference with the theme “Emerging Trends for Sustainable Exploitation of Aquatic Resources” on January 30-31, 2019.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha chaired a meeting of conveners of different committees and reviewed progress on the preparations for the conference. Chairman Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture Dr Noor Khan briefed the meeting on the arrangements and expected national and international speakers coming from across the world. He said that scientists from different countries including Mexico, the USA, the UK, Croatia, Turkey, Thailand, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Columbia, Nepal, India and New Zealand have confirmed theirs participation in this event.
