The federal government determined to set up a science and technology S&T park in Islamabad in collaboration with COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI).
The eventual aim of establishing the park is to endow aspirants with up to date amenities for scientific research under one roof. Keeping in line, the government earmark Rs50 million for the Science and Technology park in capital.
Dr. Raheel Qamar, Rector COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), said that the purpose of the science and technology park is to endorse scientific education among the students.
The enthusiastic project will not only help to encourage science and technology associated education but also be of assistance to boost entrepreneurship across the country, added rector COMSATS.
Education is one of the most important factor due to its relevance to students’ lives and the universally applicable problem-solving and critical thinking skills it uses and develops. Therefore, engaging young students with exciting material and experiences motivates them to learn and pursue the science and technology throughout career.
