CDA choked the plan to set up University in PM House

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has objected because the property is situated within the federal capital’s high-security Red Zone.

Ayesha Ikram HEC Spokesperson acknowledged the CDA’s objection and said that HEC has submitted a PC-1 for the project, while a charter for the proposed university is also awaiting approval.

Keeping in line, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) has seemingly iced-up the intention. As a substitute, HEC ponder over a proposed institute that will only be a degree-awarding institute instead of full-bloom University comprised of only 3-4 research centers and to be found on around half km behind the PM House building.
