Solar industry's exhibit set up at Expo Center Lahore

The three-day 8th Edition of Solar Pakistan and 2nd Edition of Electricity Pakistan induct at the Expo Center Johar Town organized by the FAKT Exhibitions and Strategic Partner IEEEP.

Solar industry's exhibit set up at Expo Center LahorePunjab Minister for Industries, Commerce and Investment Mian Aslam Iqbal inaugurated the mega solar show along with Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) President Almas Haider and FAKT Exhibitions CEO Saleem Khan Tanoli.

The ministry stated that, Pakistan has the potential to spawn 2.9 million megawatt of clean energy yearly from solar’s, 340,000 megawatt from wind and 100,000 megawatt from hydropower.

The renewable energy would bring various benefits to the national economy as it would diminish cost of doing business, promote industrialization, hearten investment, and create bounty of new jobs and enhancing exports.

The ultimate aim of this mega exhibition is to deploy a major platform for solar industry. Moreover, the exhibition has provided the newest technology and equipment used in the solar industry.

More than 100 exhibitors have showcased their products from over 10 countries, including China, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Germany, Korea, Italy, Turkey, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, Pakistan and the USA.
