123rd Convocation of CUI, Wah Campus
The 123rd Convocation of COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) was held on Saturday the March 30, 2019 at CUI, Wah Campus in which degrees were conferred to 882 graduating students (693 male and 189 females) of Wah Campus at undergraduate and graduate levels in the discipline of Management Sciences, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Mathematics. Prof. Dr. Raheel Qamar, T.I., Rector CUI presided over the convocation ceremony. Engr. Rukhsana Zuberi, Senator also graced the convocation ceremony.
30 graduates were awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals on account of their excellent academic performance. Prof. Dr. Tayyeb Akram, Director Campus informed the audience about campus achievements and future development plans of CUI, Wah Campus.
The Rector, CUI highlighted the national/international ranking, research achievements and success of the University. In his closing remarks, he congratulated all graduating students and their parents on attaining degrees and advised them work hard to contribute in the development of country and nation.
The Rector, CUI also inaugurated newly constructed block of Mechanical Engineering Department.
