21 labs got accreditation of AARI for ISO-17025

Ayub Agricultural Research Institute (AARI) Faisalabad has productively completed the project titled ‘Accreditation of AARI Laboratories for ISO-17025’ in 21 different laboratories.

21 labs got accreditation of  AARI for  ISO-17025As the AARI institute strife to attain stakeholders due to the unavailability of commercialization status. Only a few of laboratories out of 21 are directly providing services to common farmers, importers and exporters.

The ultimate aim of the project is to perk up the working and services liberation of fibre testing laboratory, biotechnology laboratory, rice technology laboratory, cereal technology laboratory, soil and water testing laboratories and pesticide quality control laboratories.

According to the report, “All 21 laboratories have successfully achieved ISO 17025 accreditation, which demonstrates that laboratories have qualified staff, precise equipment, adequate quality assurance, accurate recording and reporting and controlled lab environment.”

Faisalabad Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) Testing Laboratory Director Zafar Iqbal said, Authenticated information generates consistent results. Accreditation is a sort of assurance that the laboratories have intercontinental test methods, qualified personals, accurate equipment and requisite infrastructure.
