Chairman Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), Maj. Gen. Amer Nadeem, HI(M) chaired the convocation, he emphasized the modern challenges of revolutionization demand re-engineering of human resources to viaduct the gap between public sector and industries.

“There is a need to increase quality of human resource in the country”, SUPARCO chairman further said. He admired the efforts of PAEC in areas of defence, power, agriculture, and health. He acknowledged the futurist leaders of PAEC for establishment of HR institutes like PIEAS to assemble national challenges.

Chairman Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) Muhammad Naeem, HI, SI, highlight that PAEC is doing all efforts to achieve at least eleven (11) out of seventeen (17) Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs) set by the United Nations (UN). PAEC has been contributing towards socio-economic development of the country and its agriculture centres.

PAEC Chairman further informed that after establishment of first nuclear medicine centre at Karachi in 1960, PAEC has so far established eighteen (18) cancer hospitals in every part of the country with modern diagnostic and therapeutic facilities for the wide-ranging public.
