E-rozgaar is an initiative of Punjab Government started in 2017 to empower the youth of Pakistan by developing their entrepreneurial and freelancing skills and help them to earn handsome amount of money through interest.
As the job industry is getting narrow day by day in our country, so the main purpose behind this initiative was to generate employment opportunities for graduates.
They have around 27 active centers in different cities of Punjab and they are operating in different universities at various cities. They have graduated around 400 trainees who earned around 8.5 million PKR till date.
In Wah Cantt, E-Rozgaar Center was launched in November 2017 at COMSATS University Islamabad Wah Campus in with the collaboration of PITB.
As two year of this project are completed in March 2019, So E-rozgaar celebrated second anniversary at E-Rozgaar Center COMSATS Wah on 28th March 2019. Where current and previous batch trainees joined and they also arranged a cake cutting ceremony. Chief guest was Dr. Munir (Advisor COMSATS Wah).
Dr. Tariq Umer (Focal Person E-Rozgaar COMSATS Wah Center) and HOD’s from different departments of Comsats Wah. Our Center Manager Mr. Muhammad Shujah gave a detailed Presentation on our achievements and also shared the future aspects of this program.
Chief Guest was really inspired by the achievements and impact of this program and they also showed deep Interest to work with E-rozgaar in future for the betterment of society.
