Amazon is trying to make warehouse work more fun via an interactive game. Now the Amazon’s workers don’t have to choose between work and play as the company-created video games that turn tedious tasks into productive fun.

Different video games include options, including Dragon Duel, Mission Racer, PicksInSpace, and CastleCrafter and typically involve productivity-based point system. The more tasks a worker completes, the more points or progress they make in the game.

Workers’ physical actions like assembling orders and moving items are translated into virtual in-game moves. The faster someone picks items and places them in a box, the faster their car will move around a virtual track.

The games are not only intended to make work less tedious, but also encourages higher productivity by pitting workers against one another in the virtual game world.
