Huawei seems to be getting worse by the day, in the latest blow to the company, the SD Association has blocked the ability for Huawei to offer phones or devices featuring SD or microSD card slot.
The SD Association (SDA) told that Huawei’s removal from the group was due to US executive order. However, Huawei has prepared for a backup too with its own proprietary Nano Memory Cards, which are physically smaller than microSD ones.
Huawei in reply said that , “Huawei values its relationships with all partners and associations around the world and understands the difficult situation they are in. We are hopeful this situation will be resolved and are working to find the best solution.”
US ban previously led to Google cut off its ties with Huawei, losing access to Android. Later, companies including Intel, Qualcomm, ARM, and Broadcom too followed suit to stop working with Huawei.
