Kamyab Jawan program approved to empower youth

Prime Minister Imran Khan ‘Kamyab Jawan’ National Youth Development Program has been acknowledged by the Federal Cabinet which aims to economically empower the youth of the country.

Kamyab Jawan program approved to empower youthThe Kamyab Jawan Program will permit youth to take startup loans of Rs. 100,000 to Rs. 5 million to take their career ahead. Moreover, under the scheme, 25% of loans will be settled for women.

The program has been initiated to make the budding youth self-employee and overcome the unemployment rate in the country. This movement helps potential youth to earn upright livelihood in their niche.

The program also enhance entrepreneurial activity by promoting conventional and tech startups, at universities/tech institutes as well as for non-academic entrepreneurs.

Concerning on the joblessness hike, Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has announced the youth startup-driven loans scheme.

She said;In the first category, banks will provide loan up to Rs. 500,000 at six percent mark-up with lending equity of 10 percent, while in the second category, a loan of Rs. 5 million will be provided at a mark-up rate of eight percent and an equity ratio of 20 percent.”
