With Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Cloud, Telenor Pakistan is able to automate business processes to improve productivity, reduce costs and improve controls.

Globally, over 6,000 organizations have implemented the market-leading Oracle ERP Cloud for a complete, innovative and secure financial platform. The deployment has helped improve business efficiency by automating manual and error-prone processes, and has resulted in a significant reduction in reporting time by providing an accurate and real-time view into financial data.

“To compete in the fast-paced modern world, business leaders need quick access to insight based on accurate, real-time data for enhanced decision-making and market responsiveness,” said Syed Azam Abidi, head of applications, Oracle Pakistan. “Oracle ERP Cloud can help Telenor Pakistan reduce complexity and increase productivity so the company can bring new products and services to its customers faster”.

Additionally, Oracle’s integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) has been deployed to help simplify integration between the company’s new and existing applications and data sources. This ensures Telenor can continue utilizing existing IT assets, irrespective of environment or technology.

“Oracle offers the most complete suite of best-of-breed cloud applications across every business function, ranging from finance and HR to supply chain, marketing, and sales,” said Shariq Rehman, managing director, Oracle Pakistan. “Built on Oracle’s best-in-class cloud platform and infrastructure, Oracle Clouds Applications enable customers to benefit from security, scalability, performance, and strong integration capabilities. By eliminating IT complexity, customers can focus product and service innovation that drives business outcomes.”

“By implementing Oracle ERP, we have been able to modernize our systems to better support and serve our ever-increasing network of subscribers, even those in previously untapped population segments,” said Marius Gigernes, chief financial officer, Telenor Pakistan.  “With Oracle Cloud we can future-proof and automate our business processes, helping us deliver better user experience and drive innovation while reducing operational costs and IT complexity.”
