Team Pakistan marks Science contest at CASTIC Macao, China

Pakistan Science Club (PSC) successfully organized National Science & Innovation 2019 in collaboration with ECO Science Foundation (ECOSF), Usman Institute of Technology (UIT) and Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF). 

Team Pakistan marks Science contest at CASTIC Macao, ChinaDr. Manzoor Hussain Soomro (President ECOSF) was the chief guest of the event where as Dr. Prof. Sikander Shirwani (Professor Federal Urdu University), Parkash Lohana (Professor UIT), Bhavani Shankar (Professor MUET), Dr. Zaheer (Director UIT), Partab Shivani (President Thar Education Alliance) witnessed the Science competition as special guests of the event.

After a very hard-hitting competition, three winners were finalized by the judges by mutual consent. The first position holder named Arbaaz Mehmood concerning on the project: Matter-Antimatter Collisions: A way forward in Particle physics.

Aamna Ahmed secured second position and her project is “Smart Aqua Lab”. The third position holder is Hamza Ibrahim and the project title is “Paralyze Assist”.

NSIF’19 top three winners participate in China Adolescents Science and Technology Innovation Contest (CASTIC), the biggest science contest of Asia held in Macao, China. Where Aamna, Arbaaz and Hamza got two bronze and one silver medal for the admirable approach in the Science and Innovation Fair 2019.

Dr. Manzoor Hussain Soomro, President ECOSF congratulate the Young Pakistani Scientists on the remarkable achievement at NSIF’19. Stated that, “I hope with first experience, Pakistan Science Club should be in better position next time ! God Luck in Future.” 

At CASTIC platform students across the country take part and shared their innovative ideas. NSIF’19 helped students to think in a rational way to explore the possibilities for the betterment of society using scientific and innovative concepts.
