The city of Shenzhen in China will be hosting UNLEASH Innovation Lab 2019, scheduled from November 6-13 dedicated to find solutions to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In Shenzhen, UNLEASH will gather 1000 people from all over the world, as well as involve civil society and private public sector in the innovation process.
Among the 1000 people Pakistan’s talent Muhammad Miqdad, Global Operations Manager for Pakvitae have been selected to represent Pakistan and SDG6 tilted ‘Water and Sanitation’ at the UNLEASH Innovation Lab 2019.
Muhammad Miqdad express that “Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) provided me with a framework to pursue my passions and explore new avenues. As part of the program, I interacted with people in over 12 countries to grow my clean water startup, and in doing so; found myself surrounded by global change makers. I believe that is the greatest support, inspiration, and exposure to go forward in life!”
The SDG challenge is immense to realize this, the prevalent platform covens the diverse thinkers of 150+ nationalities to devise innovative pathways towards the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
The SDGs goals ultimately aspire to create a better, more inclusive and more prosperous world by 2030. To make this happen, the world need to identify new solutions, create partnerships and UNLEASH the vast potential of young, innovative minds.
