TIP revival to accommodate viable needs of IT industry

Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui announced revival of Telephone Industries of Pakistan (TIP) to accommodate the needs of fast growing IT industry of the country by utilizing the infrastructure of TIP.

Telephone Industries of Pakistan (TIP) was a notable industrial unit and national asset from where many businesses can generate immense revenue for the country’s benefit and development. 

For the country’s development the reinforcement of TIP could result into a best revenue generating entity. Seeing, all possible steps would be taken through joint venture for the betterment of a country.

After the revitalization of Telephone Industries of Pakistan (TIP), Team of Financial Transactions Control Systems (FTCS) of Sweden called on Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication (ICT) Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui to negotiate on matters related to payment gateway solutions in Pakistan.

During the meeting, the Information Technology and Telecommunication minister reiterated his determination towards digital financial inclusion by taking the bulky opportunity to grassroots, improving government services through crystal clear mechanism and cultivating IT export sector of Pakistan.
