Pakistan’s cadet college to visit Japan Science Plan

Pakistan’s high school Cadet College Hasan Abdal group of 10 students  along with one supervisor will be visiting Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) from 13th to 19th September, 2019  under the Japan-Asia Youth Exchange Program in Science named as the “SAKURA Science Plan.”

Pakistan’s cadet college to visit Japan Science PlanThe Embassy of Japan arranged a pre-departure orientation session for the Cadet College Hasan Abdal visiting students to enlighten them with some prior knowledge and information about Japan and its scientific society and handed over travel documents to the selected youth at the orientation ceremony.

Kuninori Matsuda, Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, congratulated the students upon their selection for SAKURA Science Plan. He hoped that the young Pakistani high schools students would get an opportunity during their visit to Japan to experience the modern scientific and technological advancements of Japan.

The Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) annually invites outstanding young students and young professionals from Asian countries on short-term visits to Japan to promote exchanges between the young Asian and Japanese researchers in the field of science and technology.

The Science program also provides the visitors an opportunity to experience the advanced Japanese scientific technology and also initiated to extend and strengthen mutual trust and understanding among the Japan and Pakistan.
