In line with Pakistan’s ‘Clean and Green’ campaign, the government of Pakistan soon kicked off the electric vehicles like electric bike, rikshaw to lessen the peril carbon emissions.
Keeping the considerations, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry himself drove an electric bike and a rikshaw during this visit to the Pakistan Council for Renewable Energy Technologies (PCRET).
Minister for Science and Technology takes the locally assembled Jolta Electric Bike for a test ride. The first one joltaebike Rs. 90k and the other one Ebike70 model (70km range) Rs. 135k / Ebike125 model (100 km range).

Minister at PCRET added that, Pakistan is among those countries which are using the highest number of motorcycles, so the major goal to run all motorcycles and rickshaw on chargeable batteries was to reduce carbon emissions from the environment and to cut petrol cost at some extend.
We hoped that all these efforts including the “green and clean Pakistan campaign , Plastic free City drives , policy on electric vehicles, green buildings, proper waste management treatment, safe and healthy drinking water and diplo-green community drive of the ruling government will soon bear fruits.
These struggle of government revolutionized Pakistan’s peril things into some good happenings like combating climate change, eco-friendly environment and healthy nation.
