Documentary on Dr Abdus Salam accessible on Netflix

A documentary named ‘Salam’ featured on the life of the Pakistani scientist, Dr Abdus Salam, will be digitally accessible for a wider audience through the Netflix in October 2019.

He was one of the greatest physicists all around world.

The  documentary Salam was Directed by Anand Kamalakar, Brooklyn based film director and produced under the banner of Kailoola Productions.

This documentary screened at the South Asian International Film Festival, Chicago South Asian Film Festival and DFW South Asian Film Festival. It already won awards as Best Documentary Feature on the international film festivals among others.

Actual footage of Dr Salam receiving his Noble Prize and posing alongside Gustav of Sweden in 1979 as well as his meeting with the Pope showed in the promo of the documentary.
