Aqsa Kausar 1st Pakistani achieve Google developer expert in machine learning

An engineering graduate of National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) Aqsa Kausar has turn out to be Pakistan’s title holder by achieving 1st Google Developer Expert (GDE) in Machine Learning. No other Pakistani has yet achieved this achievement before Aqsa.

Aqsa kausar 1st Pakistani achiever GDE in machine learningAqsa Kausar obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from NUST with a CGPA of 3.79. She has already made a name for herself at such a young age by contributing vastly in the field of Machine Learning.

There are numerous honors on her credit including arranging different workshops in various events like Google DevFest 2018 and Google Cloud Next Extended 2019 which held in the Islamabad. Furthermore, she also participated in Google’s trainer session on Machine Learning Train which was held in Singapore.

Currently Aqsa Kausar is associated with a Software company, Red Buffer in the capacity of Machine Learning Engineer.

She said in an interview to media that “Being a part of Red Buffer has helped me immensely in my journey to becoming a GDE. Red Buffer has some of the best talents in Machine Learning & AI including some amazing tech-savvy women. Our CEO Tayyab Tariq has always been highly supportive and encouraging in my GDE journey. He often says: it’s not about you, it’s about how you use what you have to help others”

She showered plenty of praise for the company’s CEO who proved to be of great help for her.

she urges the youth of Pakistan especially women to learn about this field since it offers promising future and said  “I believe more women should step forward and make use of this amazing opportunity. Not just for their personal growth and networking, but also to widen the culture of knowledge sharing in Pakistan”.
