Scientia Pakistan published a magazine edition that specifically covers Coronavirus with the collaboration of more than 10 Universities around Pakistan.
Scientia Pakistan is a digital Science magazine. The major aim of this magazine is to spread the astronomy, astrophysics, astrobiology and general scientific knowledge as well as awareness through media to the general public.
A group of students with their senior fellows from different fields of life came forward for spreading awareness among masses that facts and authenticity matter for the coverage of science news.
Founder, and Editor of Scientia Pakistan Saadeqa Khan said that there is a dire need for credible and research-based information.
She further said that such articles may help many people to understand the reality of their routine problems and devise a suitable strategy. During the current Coronavirus pandemic, national and international organizations have been facing the severe problem of fake news and myths regarding Coronavirus.
She added that our team with their senior University teachers, health experts, and senior Science journalists worked on such stories those would be helpful to understand the reality of Coronavirus and abolishing the myths that are plaguing our society.
She acknowledged all who contributed in a short time, students from Quid e Azam University, National Defense University, UET, Lahore, West Medicine College Peshawar, LUMS, Karachi University, University of Veternity and Animal Sciences, Lahore, Baluchistan University, and others coordinated and we successfully brought such a piece of art magazine edition related to Coronavirus.
The scientific communities should coordinate with such science magazines that bring the most up-to-date authentic science news and research work just a click away, reducing the number of scientific language so that non-specialists or an amateur person can better understand and differentiate between myths and scientific facts, specifically in these days of Coronavirus Pandemic.
