A team consisting of eight Chinese doctors returned after helping Pakistan officials and medical experts in the fight against coronavirus.

A team of medical professionals from china attended a departure ceremony at Urumqi airport, northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur on 28 march.

During their stay, the team helped the Pakistani medical professional and authorities in devising better methods to deal with the corona pandemic. They also shared their experience that how they get control over this deadly pathogen in china and they also highlighted strategies adopted by them in this regard.

A medical team of eight Chinese doctors who helped Pakistan’s fight against COVID-19 returned Friday night to Urumqi, capital of northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur. They consist of experts in different fields including respiratory experts, critical acre and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). During their stay, they visited different cities of Pakistan like Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi.

The Chinese experts communicated with the Pakistani federal, national and native health authorities, hospitals and medical schools, yet because of the Red Crescent.

The team members shared their experience regarding coronavirus through several video conferences and offered practical, specific suggestions to their Pakistani peers concerning the diagnosis, clinical treatment and epidemiology of COVID-19, and also the application of TCM, hospital infection control and also the construction of temporary hospitals. They also conducted awareness programs about epidemic prevention.
