Pakistan will begin producing coronavirus drug Remdesivir in the following, not many months subsequent to getting the permit from US pharmaceutical organization Gilead.

Talking to the media person, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan (SAPM) on Health Zafar Mirza declared that Gilead, made this medication and it has demonstrated powerful in treating coronavirus patients. “It is said that the utilization of the medication has diminished the power of the infection by 30%,” the SAPM said.

He proceeded with that Gilead has given an intentional permit to Pakistan alongside five different organizations. Zafar said that the Pakistani pharmaceutical organization will begin production in about two months in the wake of getting the essential administrative endorsements.

Dr. Zafar Mirza further said once Pakistan begins the production, the nation will have the option to send out the medication to 127 nations. Naming it an innovation, he said this is a significant step forward for Pakistan on the health, monetary, and diplomatic fronts.
