Smart lockdown strategy developed in 3 districts of Karachi

If the waiver given a few days before Eid has led to an increase in Corona cases, then a smart lockdown strategy has been developed in Karachi as in other cities of the country.

According to the city administration, there will be smart lockdown in 43 union councils of East, West and Korangi districts and the affected areas will be sealed with the help of law enforcement agencies.

According to sources, the Home Department will decide the time of ban and delivery of essential items. The police department is planning a lockdown after which the lockdown will be implemented.

According to the administration, there will be smart lockdown in 13 union councils in the western district including Manghopir, Baldia Town, Site and Kemari.

Smart Lockdown will be carried out in 16 Union Councils of Eastern District including Muhammad Ali Society, Bahadurabad, Issa Nagri, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Safora Goth, Askari Four, Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block 13, PECHS Block 2 and Block 6. Balti Mohalla, Martin Quarter, Fatima Jinnah Colony, Tin Hatti, Jahangir Road 1 and 2, Soldier Bazaar and exhibition area.

The 14 union councils of Korangi district will be banned, including Natha Khan Goth, Khokhrapar, Bhattai Colony, Zaman Town and Chakragoth.

Apart from this, smart lockdown will also be carried out in Landhi, Shah Faisal Colony, Nasir Colony, Awami Colony, Model Colony, Al-Falah, Drug Road and Airport areas.

According to sources, these areas affected by Corona virus will be sealed with the help of police and Rangers. What will be the time of lockdown? Which business will be opened and which will be closed? The decision will be made by the provincial home department.
