Islamabad . The Federal Government and Aga Khan University are taking joint steps for the treatment of patients infected with the corona virus . Other initiatives, including CU facilitation, have been launched. Dr. Zafar Mirza, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Health , said that our priority is to improve the care system of hospitalized patients.Partnering with Aga Khan University will further improve health facilities. He said the agreement would train all doctors, nurses, paramedics and other medical personnel across the country. The medical staff caring for the corona patient admitted to the hospital will be able to be reached by telecommunication.
He said that Aga Khan University has provided such a simple and cheap plate which will soon prove to be useful for connecting workers with experts.He said that this partnership would be important for national efforts to save the lives of patients. Health workers treating COD-19 patients will also be able to participate through tele-consultation. He said that under “The Care System” 50,000 health workers would be provided training on PPAs. Dr. Zafar Mirza said that Aga Khan University would provide training to 10,000 health care workers in Sindh in the next few weeks.In this regard , the Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Asad Hafeez, said that we have to take all possible steps to prevent the spread of the COD-19 epidemic.
