Xbox-Free-Play-Days-Serve-Up-Stardew-Valley-and-Hitman-2-This-Week

Free Play Days is back for Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass Ultimate members to partake in, and this week, there are two very different games to enjoy. First off, there’s a free trial version of Hitman 2 to sample, with two full locations to jump into, offering hours of garotting, fish-slapping, silverballer-shooting fun.

If the idea of creatively assassinating targets sounds too violent, then maybe the gentler pace of Stardew Valley might be more to your liking. In Chucklefish’s charming pastoral game, you can plant crops, live off the land, help the local community, and even go down into the mines to fight monsters.

The Hitman 2 Free Trial includes the Miami and New Zealand locations to try out, the former being a full-fledged sandbox level with a racing venue to explore, featuring all manner of ways to ensure your quarry meets with a sticky demise. The Gold Edition of the game can also be yours for 75% off, and as owning Hitman 2 means gaining access to every one of its missions in Hitman 3, it’s most definitely worth it.

All progress and Gamerscore earned during Free Play Days carries over to the full game, which are both discounted from today until 28th June at 11:59pm PDT, when the Free Play Days period expires. You can find and install both games here, and if you fancy purchasing either of them, you can hit up the Xbox Store links below.
