PEC Advices Prototype Serial Production of Safe Vent, Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) has coordinated with Pakistan Science Foundation.
Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) has coordinated with Pakistan Science Foundation for the provision of funding for product based projects to transform a lab project into a commercial product.
The product produced under license by National Radio Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC) from M/s Karel Turkey brand name Safe Vent has been provisionally approved for development of industrial grade prototype for serial production.
The Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) through a advice note to NRTC mentioned that NRTC to undertake local manufacturing and proceed with supply chain of local production of 50-100 lot as pilot production required for immediate deployment in health care sector. PEC further mentioned that as per DRAP policy all parts to used in these ventilators must be CE certified and FDA approved.
