Argentina has become the first country to approve planting of a genetically modified wheat variety. The country’s government, approving something called HB4. It’s a drought-resistant GMO wheat. It was developed by a company called Bioceres S-A. GMO plants have their genetic material changed using technology. No other countries have approved the growing of GMO wheat, including the U.S.A. statement from the Argentine government touted the drought tolerance in the wheat, saying it is aimed at “minimizing production losses and giving greater predictability to yields.”

KFC is launching a new signature dipping sauce named “KFC sauce.” It will be available nationwide starting next Monday. The chain describes the sauce as quote “tangy and sweet, with a bit of smokiness specifically designed to pair with K-F-C’s extra crispy tenders.” K-F-C says it got feedback from customers in developing the sauce.
