Smartphone maker Honor has said that it will unveil its new 5G smartphones in China. The company has confirmed that it will launch the Honor Play5 series in China on 18 May.

Honor has also shared an official image of the upcoming smartphone. The yet-to-launch smartphone will come with a water drop notch screen and sport a quad-rear camera setup. The rear of the smartphone will offer gradient finish.

Rumours suggest that the upcoming Honor Play 5 smartphone is expected to sport a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra wide angle lens, 2MP depth and 2MP macro shooter. The smartphone is also said to pack a 3800 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.

Apart from this, no other information about the smartphone is available right now.

Recently, Honor launched its latest Android tablet in China. Dubbed Honor Pad X7, the tablet sports an HD+ display and is powered by a MediaTek processor. The Android tablet comes in Blue colour option and its price starts at 899 yuan (Rs 10,240).

The Honor Pad X7 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek P22T processor paired with 3GB of RAM. The device 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 512GB by adding a microSD card.

The tablet runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of Magic UI 4.0.

It sports a 5MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and 2MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture. The Android tablet houses a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
