Long gone are the days when we could only game with an official controller in our hands. You see, with the move to mobile gaming, and the likes of Xbox, Google Stadia, Nvidia and more making the most of cloud gaming, the options open to players around the world has grown. And that is where Gamesir come in, providing gamers with the chance to use their mobile phones and tablets for high quality gaming. Today Gamesir Build On The Options To Hand, With The Launch Of The New X2 Bluetooth Mobile Gaming Controller And The F7 Claw Tablet Game Controller For Both Android And Ios.

Yep yep, we know this is primarily an Xbox focused site, but since the big dogs at Xbox HQ saw fit to push out Xbox Game Pass and Project xCloud with full cloud gaming opportunities, playing Xbox games on mobile has become second nature. The best way of doing that though is by utilising a specific controller for such matters, with Razer and their Kishi and Gamesir with their X2 Type-C Controller having previously covered many bases.

Now though Gamesir are going bigger, dropping the Type-C needs to utilise Bluetooth with the new X2 Bluetooth Mobile Gaming Controller. This follows the success of the Type-C variant to work Bluetooth magic, which in turn makes it highly compatible with both Android and iOS devices. It’s priced at £69.99 with Amazon holding stock and ensures that players making the most of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Google Stadia, Nvidia GeForce Now and Vortex are sorted.

Like its predecessor, the X2 Bluetooth version is designed to provide a full array of controls and minimise lag, which in turn is able to deliver the ultimate gaming experience. With smartphones getting bigger and more powerful to ensure they can handle the ever-increasingly complex games played on them, the X2 Bluetooth version will keep gamers ahead of competitors no matter what phone they are using.

It’s a pretty simple design throughout and expands to securely hold phones measuring up to 173mm. The soft rubber grips will ensure a comfortable hold throughout any gaming session, the screenshot button allows for a quick snapshot of the best onscreen gaming moments and both the 500 mAh battery and Type-C Charging Port will mean that the GameSir X2 Bluetooth has a powerful long life, allowing gamers to play for about 20 hours under normal use, all from a short two-hour charge.

Alongside the new X2 is the GameSir F7 Claw Tablet Game Controller, compatible with iPads and Android tablets. This will be available from Amazon on May 24th for $39.99/£33.99 and is seen as the world’s first capacitive gamepad for tablets. Compatible with any Android and iPad tablets with a thickness range of 6-12mm and offers the player the chance to work a stunning, ergonomic six finger ‘Claw’ game playing arrangement.

The F7 Claw has been designed for on-screen control games – like the many which utilise this through Xbox Game Pass. However, unlike Bluetooth controllers where the user has to install other apps for key mapping, users can start playing directly without this extra effort. It simply attaches to the tablet using a strong, tight and secure suction cup design and, when in place, it allows the gamer to utilise the ‘trigger’ buttons, These come in the form of R1/R2 and L1 and L2 as well as two “Turbo” buttons which, when pressed, control the burst frequency of the R1 and L1 buttons respectively. Yep, ideal for all onscreen control FPS & TPS games.

Three different turbo modes are available too – 3, 6 and 9 – which control the speed of the turbo, whilst a long press for three seconds enables recording mode so gamers can capture the best moments. The micro mechanical buttons for quick action together with the advanced chip for fast response and sensitive trigger operation, ensure gamers will always be on the front foot whilst playing.

In terms of how long you can be playing with the F7 Claw, then well, it boasts an amazing 120 hour playing time with 200 day standby time, all from a charge of just 2 hours, using the Type-C connector, so really you can play for as long as you can stay awake. If you’re looking for new options in the gaming accessories market and fancy making the most of the likes of Xbox Game Pass and Google Stadia on your phone or tablet, Gamesir have seemingly got you covered with the new F7 Claw and X2 Bluetooth mobile controllers. Let us know in the comments if you decide to give them a shot. And if you wish to know more about the X2, check out our hands-on video of the Type-C version.
