The successor of QUALCOMM’s Snapdragon 888 processor is coming in the last quarter of 2021, that too with a major GPU update. Since Google is busy making its own processor for smartphones that will launch somewhere between the end of this year or maybe in the middle of 2022.

Therefore, the Google-owned devices won’t be powered by the TSMC chipsets. Other Android devices, which to run on Google operating system, will be powering TSMC processors.

With said that, there’re also rumors of rivalry between the two chip-making giants – Samsung Exynos and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon. Notably, two of them are targeting the mobile phone gaming audience rather than day-to-day users.

As a result, the upcoming SoC from Qualcomm – Snapdragon 895 is all set to debut and overtake Samsung’s chipset in terms of GPU.

The news of improved GPU from Snapdragon in its upcoming processor came from a post by Lenovo China’s phone business manager Chen Jin on Weibo. Chen Jin posted on Weibo that the flagship smartphones from his company will use still-to -debut chipset of QUALCOMM, that too with enhanced and improved GPU.

To recall, Lenovo is all set to roll out its flagship smartphone name, Legion 3 Pro, probably in the first quarter of 2022.

As we all know, smartphone gaming has a potential industry and rapidly growing as many people prefer mobile over computer or laptop for gaming. Today, the users want to bring the gaming experience at their hands rather than sitting at a certain place and focusing on larger screens for playing.

Since we all know the minor specs of SM8450 that include 4nm fabrication technology and its X65 5G modem, and improved GPU. Therefore, we can’t predict its comparison with Samsung’s collaboration with AMD. Besides this, one thing is clear, the primary aim or goal of TSMC is to challenge Samsung’s Exynos.
