A delegation consisting of teachers and students of Universiti Teknologi Mara, Malaysia delegation visits Islamia University of Bahawalpur Barak Branch Malaysia organized by the Directorate of International Linkages, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur visited the Islamia University of Bahawalpur.

The members of the Universiti Teknologi Mara delegation had a detailed meeting with Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engr. Prof. Dr. AtharMahboob and discussed the cooperation between the two universities. The Vice-Chancellor appreciated the delegation’s arrival at JamiaIslamia. A special dinner was also organized on this occasion in which Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. AtharMahboob, Regional Police Officer Munir Ahmed Zia Rao, Prof. Dr. Sajjad Khan, Vice Chancellor Cholistan University of Animal Sciences, Dean Faculty of Chemical and Biological Sciences.

The delegation was led by Deputy Rector Bahrun Noor Hayat bint-e-Bahrun, other members included Muhammad Junina bint-e-Muhammad and Director International Linkages Daljit Singh Sidhu Jana Singh and 15 students. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur Focal Person Director International Linkages Prof. Dr. Abid Shehzad, Assistant Professor Dr. Jam Sajjad Hussain Coordinator, Director Enabling Center and Member Syndicate Dr. Samar Fahad, Deputy Registrar Fatima Mazahir, other faculty members and staff officers performed the duties of hosting.

According to the recent ranking of Times Higher Education, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has joined the ranks of the first 800 universities in the world.
