Govt Striving To Implement Digitalization Health Service System In KP

The Provincial Minister for Science and Information Technology stated that the government was working to implement digitalization to improve health service delivery system in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa KP on Tuesday.

He was speaking at a meeting about the launch of the Health Management Information System in various hospitals throughout the province. Health Minister, the Secretary of Information Technology, and other concerned officials also attended the meeting.

According to the meeting, the health information management system had been launched in the District Headquarters Hospitals of Mardan, Charsadda, Haripur, Swabi, Naseerullah Khan Babar Hospital, Moulvi Ji Hospital, and Siffat Ghayur Hospital.

It was revealed that it had been decided to test a management system in a hospital and that the relevant authorities had been directed to make the necessary preparations.

A Health Management Information System (HMIS) is a system that collects, stores, and manages data related to healthcare services. It is often used in hospitals and other healthcare facilities to track patient care, monitor the performance of the healthcare system, and support decision-making by healthcare providers.

HMIS can be used to track patient appointments, manage patient records, and monitor the availability of healthcare resources such as beds and staff. It can also be used to track patient outcomes and the effectiveness of various treatments, and to identify areas for improvement in the healthcare system.

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) is working to implement a digitization health service system in the province in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the healthcare system.

Digitization involves the use of digital technology, such as electronic health records, telemedicine, and online health services, to improve the delivery of healthcare services.

The Ministry of Health is the main government agency responsible for overseeing the health service system in KP. It is responsible for setting policies and standards for healthcare, regulating healthcare providers, and providing funding for health services.

The ministry also works to ensure that healthcare services are accessible, affordable, and of high quality for all residents of the province.
