The National Skills University Islamabad (NSU) Muridke Campus started classes in the first week of January 2023 for five professional six-month skills courses to create a technical workforce in solar systems, mobile repair and manufacturing, industrial stitching, domestic and industrial electricians, and Microsoft Office applications in the shortest amount of time possible, despite enormous obstacles.

An NSU sub-campus will be built in Muridke on 100 kanals of land with the help of initial funding of $386.829 million from the Government of Pakistan. This will help to improve skill education and to create technical workforce in the Punjab province.

It is important to note that the National Skills University in Islamabad offers certifications that are accepted all over the world because it holds the distinguished distinction of being a UNESCO/UNEVOC Center. On his visit to the Muridke Campus, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar, Vice Chancellor of the National Skills University Islamabad, made this statement.

The Vice-Chancellor gave the Campus Coordinator and other university officials advice to deliver cutting-edge skill education and hastily complete procurements for the newest IT hardware and skill-learning machinery.

He claims that Muridke youth are eager to enroll in skill-learning programs. In cooperation with the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, the university will support graduates’ job placements or entrepreneurial endeavors after they have earned their certification.
