Numerous advanced photovoltaic energy storage and other new energy businesses are present in Haining City. They are eager to expand their technical collaboration and trade with energy businesses including PV (photovoltaic) industry in Pakistan and other Belt and Road Initiative nations.

In a recent business matchmaking between Haining and Pakistani technology companies, Jin Hongxian, Deputy Director of the Economic Development Office of Zhouwangmiao, Haining City, Zhejiang province, China, expressed these opinions.

Haining has established a new energy emerging manufacturing cluster with an industrial output value of RMB 50 billion above scale and a GDP of RMB 119.63 billion in 2021.

Zhouwangmiao, which is the birthplace of Haining leather and is part of the Yangtze River Delta integrated development core area, was once referred to as “China’s No. 1 Leather Town” by the Chinese Ministry of Light Industry. Electronic information, the production of high-end equipment, and biomedicine drive the local economy.

Jin added that over the past ten years, Haining’s foreign trade partners have gradually shifted from North America, Europe, Japan, and South Korea to Thailand, Pakistan, and other emerging economies like the Belt and Road countries, with the proportion steadily increasing.

Haining is the foundation of the developing manufacturing sector and a traditional stronghold for international trade. Haining encourages more Pakistani solar and leather businesses to collaborate in a beneficial way.

The fact that China dominates the solar and photovoltaic industries and generates more than 50% of the world’s electricity and photovoltaic power is not a secret, according to Sami Iqbal, the founder of Nanjing Enfiniti Tech Development Co., Ltd. and a researcher on solar cell materials at Southeast University’s School of Materials.

He is looking for businesses that comprehend the need for solar energy and the manufacturing of related equipment in developing nations and areas along the Belt and Road.

In Pakistan, there are numerous advantages and opportunities for the development of photovoltaic industries, including those in transportation, agriculture, small and medium-sized businesses, and public utilities, among other sectors.

To improve the capacity for production and operational maintenance in PV industry of Pakistan , we would like to collaborate with reputable PV companies in Haining. Said Sami.

Yu Linjie, General Manager of Zhejiang Chuanda New Energy Co., Ltd., attended the event and expressed his desire to collaborate with Pakistani PV companies on investment plans, after-sales services, and equipment upgrades.
