The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) and the Institute of Leadership Excellence (ILE) teamed up on Friday to strengthen leadership roles, particularly in the health sector, and build a robust healthcare system through the effective management of qualified people.

In a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that the two institutes signed at the IBA, it was acknowledged that the healthcare industry has a critical need for leadership development in order to organize and systematise reliable and accessible healthcare services.

Syed Jamshed Ahmed of ILE and Kamran Bilgrami, director of the IBA’s Centre of Executive Education, both signed the MoU. Haroon Qassim and Dr. Syed Akbar Zaidi, the executive director, also attended the signing ceremony.

“Good healthcare programs and organizations achieve results under difficult circumstances and in a dynamic environment when they develop leaders who can effectively lead and manage,” said Ahmed of the ILE. ”
