The prime minister welcomed Hayat Bio-keen Tech’s interest in investing in Pakistan’s pharmaceutical sector, particularly in vaccine manufacturing.

PM Invites Hayat BioTech To Invest In Pakistan's RE Sector 

The Prime Minister invited Hayat Bio-Tech, a company based in the United Arab Emirates, to invest in renewable energy sector of Pakistan on Friday and reaffirmed that the government would provide all necessary assistance.

The prime minister welcomed Hayat Bio-keen Tech’s interest in investing in Pakistan’s pharmaceutical sector, particularly in vaccine manufacturing, during a meeting with a delegation led by Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook al Maktoum, Chairman of Hayat Bio-Tech and a member of the UAE ruling family.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by the prime minister, who noted that Pakistan and the UAE have long-standing ties of brotherhood. He emphasised how important it was to Pakistan for its brotherly ties with the UAE to continue to grow in all areas, including trade and investment.

According to Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook al Maktoum, UAE is eager to continue growing its presence in the  renewable energy sector and health sector and is aware of enormous investment potential of Pakistan. He expressed a strong desire to increase the UAE’s Pakistan investment portfolio.

The 1200 MW power plant project, which was started in collaboration with the Sindh Government and will be a hybrid power plant using solar and wind energy, was also discussed with the prime minister.

Federal Minister for Finance, Minister for National Health Services, SAPM Tariq Fatemi and senior officials of the relevant government departments also attended the meeting.

A leading artificial intelligence and cloud computing company based in Abu Dhabi, G42, and the pharmaceutical company Sinopharm CNBG, which is focused on research, formed a joint venture to create Hayat Biotech in 2021.

Through the development of comprehensive and scaleable technology solutions for the healthcare industry, CNBG and G42 have continuously pushed the limits of science and technology.

When CNBG’s 100 years of medical experience and G42’s technological know-how combined, Hayat Biotech was created as a biotechnology entity based in the United Arab Emirates to bring the strength and knowledge of two great nations in a relentless pursuit to break down scientific barriers.
