STAFF REPORT KHI: The launch of 3G services will bring innovation in education sector throughout the country as the large number of students will be able to access the advanced studies with their smartphones and tablets.

“Education needs could be facilitated to masses through the 3G technology as if its expected benefits to different sectors in the future. The education transformation is inevitable with the availability of relevant content for studies and on the other hand smartphones and tablets are in the reach of masses to connect with the world of information,” said Naveed Siraj Country Manager Intel Pakistan at a recently held media briefing.

He said that the Intel education content and its devices are available to support innovative e-learning trends in the country, though awareness is need to aware masses how technology can shape their lives rapidly in the modern world.

The investment of 3G infrastructure should be appropriate so that people can avail maximum opportunities in needs otherwise they will be dejected from the technology, Naveed Siraj said.

He further said that people should realise the investment on technology would give them handsome returns on long-term basis because it was a gradual process and depending on the utility and scale of technology adoption by the businesses, he added.
