STAFF REPORT KHI: At a time when our country seems to be lagging behind in terms of technological advancement, Aptech Computer Education has taken up the initiative through its Career Quest campaign for the second time to take information technology (IT) in Pakistan to the next level.Launched in collaboration with the Middlesex University, London, Career Quest is an educational seminar that apprises students of opportunities to study abroad along with the chance to win scholarships. As many as 400 students participated in the event held at the Bahria University.

In his address at the event, Aptech country academic head Rao Yaseen described Career Quest as a true quest for a student.

Aptech country head Iqbal Yousuf also described how Aptech, in collaboration with the Middlesex University, undertook the task to provide a supporting pillar to the education system.

“We believe in empowerment through technology,” he said adding, “Aptech is providing its students with a better platform by giving them access to a quality British degree through the help of Middlesex University.”

Speaking about education in IT, he said that Aptech is working rigorously for IT students as it is the most important profession in todays world.

“There are dozens of IT institutes in every corner of Pakistan. What sets Aptech apart is that it provides quality, better methodology and future plans for the students,” he said.

Three students from Aptech Computer Education were awarded a 50 per cent scholarship from the Middlesex University through a lucky draw.
