4th Oil and Gas Forum to be held in Islamabad

STAFF REPORT IBD: The 4th Pakistan Oil and Gas Forum 2012 organized annually by Shamrock Conferences International will be held on May 12 at the Serena Hotel here. The theme of this years premier oil and gas meeting is “Energy to Drive Pakistan and Resources to Fuel Growth”.
Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources, Dr. Asim Hussain, is scheduled to inaugurate the conference which comes at a crucial juncture in the quest for addressing the countrys energy challenges and the pipelines dilemma. Secretary Petroleum, M. Ejaz Choudhry, is expected to deliver the keynote address and highlight the salient features of the new Petroleum Policy 2012.
Menin Rodrigues, Chairman, Shamrock Conferences International and Convener of the 4th Pakistan Oil and Gas Forum 2012, said, “Pakistan is in the midst of a critical situation with key decisions in the offing that promise to solve some of the major energy issues.”
Researched papers, presentations and speeches by senior executives and experts in the industry will be made in the three interactive sessions.
