STAFF REPORT LHR: The Bank of Punjab and Hisel Power Solution have signed a memorandum of understanding for providing solar energy systems on easy installments through the BOP Solar Financing Scheme, says a press release issued here by the Bank.
According to details, the signing ceremony has recently been held at the BoP head office in Lahore.
Speaking on the occasion, BOP President Naeemuddin Khan assured Hisel of the bank?s support for making solar energy system affordable through financing.
Pakistan is going through a serious energy crisis and we are happy to provide our customers with an alternative solution which is guaranteed to make their lives a lot easier. Hisel?s world-class Canadian technology along with BOP?s financing will make solar solutions accessible,? he said.
He also said that this initiative would go a long way in mitigating the energy issue.
