STAFF REPORT ISB: The National Bank of Pakistan(NBP) has been recognised once again for its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts by the National Forum for Environment and Health (NFEH) in collaboration with the UNEP at the CSR 6th International Summit.


This award is given on the basis of overall NBP contributions and donations for educational and public welfare purposes. The overall contribution of NBP in CSR front in 2013 was Rs. 120 million.


The NBP has contributed in the `health sector by supporting Marie Adelaide Leprosy Centre through adoption of MALCs Female Ward; SIUT Sukkur for free treatment of underprivileged patients; Noor Memorial Hospital Chakwal for construction of Lab and X-Ray facilities; Equipment support to various other hospitals and organizing numerous Medical and Eye camps countrywide.


In `Education sector too, NBP has played a vital role by construction of various schools in the remote areas and specially the adoption of the NBP has received Gold Medal for its contributions in CSR front during the 37th FPCCI Export Trophy Awards.
