STAFF REPORT LHR: All three bachelor degree programmes at the Punjab University College of IT (PUCIT), BS Computer Science, BS Information Technology, and BS Software Engineering, have again received the best possible W category accreditation by HECs National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC).

According to a letter issued by NCEAC to the Punjab University Vice Chancellor, only 10 per cent of the 170 computing programs accredited by the council have received W category. This means that of the 17 computing programs in Pakistan that have received the highest category accreditation three are from PUCIT.

This is a wonderful achievement and has been possible only due to the support of the Punjab University administration, the commitment and hard work of the highly qualified faculty and staff, and the streamlining of the key business processes at the college, says PUCIT Principal Prof Dr Syed Mansoor Sarwar.
