Staff Report LHR: In order to facilitate advanced research in various fields including nano-catalysis, nano-forensics, nano-filteration, nano-drugs, waste water treatment, solar cells; Government College University (GCU), Lahore has established state of the art upgraded Nano-chemistry lab.


Prof Dr. Muhammad Khaleequr Rahman, Vice Chancellor GCU said on inauguration of the lab, “the university had won Rs. 10 million for the new high tech equipment laboratory under three highly crucial international projects of nano-technology by the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan Science Foundation and the Third World Academy of Sciences (TWAS)”.


He recounted the contributions of GCU in the field of nanotechnology and deemed the establishment of laboratory as start of new chapter and urged more vitality and research productivity in years to come.
