STAFF REPORT LHR: Amin Shah Gillani, an inspiring young entrepreneur hailing from Lahore has won a global competition Coinbase Bitcoin hackathon, BitHack v2. This was the second global Bitcoin hackathon. He was given reward money of $10000, apart from it he is given an opportunity to work with Silicon Valley in their BOOST VC accelerator program. Amin is known for his venture Payload, a project incubated at Plan9 (largest tech incubator of Pakistan).
The company received as many as 300 entries for the competition from around the globe. Amin`s project Mailman helped him win the competition. The project is fundamentally an email paywall system that enables consumers to reward timely email replies with Bitcoin.
