STAFF REPORT ISB: The FAST-National University of Computer and


Emerging Sciences (FAST-NUCES) held 39th convocation.


The graduates and post graduates of disciplines including computer science,


electrical engineering, management sciences were conferred the degrees.


Mamnoon Hussain, President of Pakistan graced the event as chief guest. He said


while speaking on the occasion, “The modern technologies and advanced learning


can take Pakistan out of the challenges we face in today`s contemporary world.


The science, technology and innovation can assure the country to stand amongst


the developed nations. The role of youth in national development is highly


inevitable and hard work is the only key for success because those who seek


shortcuts only cannot attain perpetual success”. He also appreciated the role of


FAST-NUCES in imparting quality education and stressed on the need of


remodeling the curriculum as per industrial needs.


Dr Amir Muhammad, Rector FAST-NUCES in his address said, “FAST-NUCES


has always strived for par excellence education and its alumni is the shining


example of it”. He also stressed on the need of youth mentoring and academia-


industry linkages in order to further improve the education quality in HEIs.


More than 200 students were awarded the degrees. The high achievers were


rewarded with gold medals.
